A Future Learning Space

Nearly all children regardless of the life they have been dealt are naturally hungry to learn.  In Syria, even amongst the hardship, devastation and violence children have hopes and dreams.  These hopes and dreams require an education. According to World Vision (2016) one of the greatest needs for child refugees is “a safe environment and a chance to play and go to school”.

Based on one of the initiatives from Teachers Without Borders , it is my aim to create a future learning space for the education of girls in the Zaatari Refugee camp. The benefits of educating girls can not be denied and it is their human right to be given equal access and opportunity to receive a quality education.  Taking inspiration from Clouds over Sidra this space will allow girls to access computers where they can utilise the e-space to connect and collaborate with other girls, professionals and mentors around the world.  In addressing my thoughts on the fundamentals of education the classroom will be a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination.
